FMA stands for Financial Management Association. It is a professional organization of financial executives, analysts, professors, and students who live and work around the world. FMA does many beneficial things for students, ranging from providing literature to bi-weekly meetings. A student membership entitles you to a one year subscription to The Financial Management Collection, a newsletter which talks about current financial topics. Upon joining you also receive a copy of the book Careers in Finance, which discusses many of the jobs available in finance. Speakers from leading companies from the Southeast will discuss their careers and current financial issues at the meetings.
