Welcome to ASAN International Program
AIP is a summer international program designed for foreign students who want to learn basic Korean language, culture, history, society, and business environment. The program consists of lectures, excursions and field trips. Participants will have opportunities to visit a wide variety of historical, cultural and industrial sites around Ulsan and other cities Korea. To maximize the Korean Studies experience, each student will be paired with a Korean student from Ulsan University. General Infomation [PDF] | Application Form [DOC] | Release of liability [PDF] University of Ulsan, Ulsan, Korea Academic credit: Suggested 3 hours of elective (must be approved by academic advisor prior to trip). Fees: $ 100 registration fee, $ 510 Auburn Abroad Fee (for transferring in courses to Auburn University) through the Study Abroad Office. Course Approval Form must be completed and approved prior to trip to receive any credit. Travel arrangements: Students must make their own travel arrangements to Ulsan, Korea and return. Any travel, outside the AIP program, will be the student's responsibility. Students are responsible for obtaining passport and visas, as required. Room and board: The University of Ulsan will provide room and board. Typically, students will be paired with a Korean student in University dormitories. Health insurance: Students must have adequate health insurance coverage and complete Release from Liability forms through the Study Abroad Office.
