About:
The Spring Break in Budapest program provides the opportunity for business students and students pursuing a business minor to study in one of the most beautiful and cultural cities in the world, Budapest, Hungary. Business concepts will come to life through company visits and candid discussions with business leaders in small group settings. Students will meet upper-level managers at the helm of local and multinational businesses who have led their organizations during the country’s transition to a market economy. We plan to visit companies such as the world famous Herend factory near Lake Balaton, as well as visit the parliament and have candid discussions with local entrepreneurs.
All discussions and company visits will be presented in English. Knowledge of the Hungarian language is not required for the program. In addition to their academic pursuits, students will have some free time for individual exploration of Budapest’s rich cultural and entertainment offerings, including its well renowned spas.

What Past Students Say About Studying in Budapest:
Budapest is a very unique city with many interesting things to do. I was very impressed by the different style of architecture and the relatively cheap prices. I would love to go back again! This trip was a great experience that I recommend to all. –Patrick Love (2006)
Studying in Budapest offers an incredible opportunity to learn in a positive environment. While in Hungary, we met with several business leaders who were very open to sharing their experiences, unique challenges, and specific business strategies. I have yet to experience such disclosure while touring businesses stateside. –David Albritton (1999)
Making the decision to study in Budapest has greatly influenced my college experience. Studying abroad has made me more marketable to future employers. Studying abroad in Budapest was more fun that I could have ever imagined. It was life changing learning experience. –Corey Kate Hinton (2006)
Studying in Budapest was an eye opening experience. Going to a country and immersing yourself in their culture, especially a post communistic country/culture, brings a lot of what I learned in history to life. A trip to Budapest is an opportunity of a life time and shouldn’t be missed.—Trey Hollifield (2006)
Studying in Budapest was amazing. It's a beautiful city with a rich history and
a truly unique economy.—Brian Gregory (1999)
As a business major, I feel that studying abroad in Budapest was the chance of a lifetime. I experienced different attitudes, perspectives, and strategies of international business, first hand, I definitely encourage any business major to take advantage of this program.—Chris Kendig (2006)
